In 1968, the National Basketball Association granted two new franchises to the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.

The Bucks won their first and only NBA Championship in 1971 by defeating the Baltimore Bullets in four games. They defeated the San Francisco Warriors in the Conference Semifinals and the Los Angeles Lakers in the Conference Finals.

2013 NBA Playoffs

The Milwaukee Bucks qualified for the playoffs for the first time since the 2008-09 season as the #8 seed in the Eastern Conference. They were defeated by the #1 seed Miami Heat in the first round.
