The Bankers Life Fieldhouse has been home of the Indiana Pacers since opening in 1999. Bankers Life Fieldhouse was named Conseco Fieldhouse before December 2011. The Pacers played their home games in Market Square Arena between 1974 and 1999. The team played in the Indiana State Fair Colisium between 1967 and 1974.
2013 NBA Playoffs
The Indiana Pacers won the Central Division in the 2012-13 NBA Season and are the #3 seed in the playoffs. They defeated the #6 seed Atlanta Hawks in the first round and the #2 seed New York Knicks in the Conference Semifinals. They will play the #1 seed Miami Heat in the Conference Finals. Indiana Pacers History
The Indiana Pacers were in the American Basketball Association and were one of four teams from the ABA that merged with NBA in 1976. The other three teams that became members of the NBA were the Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs and New York Nets.
2011 NBA Playoffs
The Indiana Pacers qualified for the 2011 NBA Playoffs. They were defeated in the first round by the Chicago Bulls 4 games to 1.
2012 NBA Playoffs
The Pacers qualified for the playoffs as the #3 seed in the Eastern Conference. They defeated the #6 seed Orlando Magic in the conference quarterfinals and were defeated by the #2 seed Miami Heat in the conference semifinals.
NBA Final Appearances
The Indiana Pacers have appeared in the NBA finals one time. They were defeated by the Los Angeles Lakers four games to two in the 2000 NBA Finals.
