The Toronto Raptors and Vancouver Grizzlies were NBA expansion teams in 1995.
The Raptors have not won a National Basketball Championship. They have qualified for the NBA playoffs five times. Four of the five times they lost in the first round. In 2001 they defeated the New York Knicks in the first round before losing to the Philadelphia 76ers in the quarterfinals.
