Oracle Arena has been the home of the Golden State Warriors since 1997. The arena was has had a variety of names related to the City of Oakland and Alemeda County before becoming the Oracle Arena. The Warriors have called this arena home during three different periods in their history. They also have played in San Jose one year and in San Francisco since moving to California from Philadelphia.

Golden State Warriors History
The National Basketball Association Warriors franchise began in Philadelphia in 1948. The team move to San Francisco in 1962 and at first used the name San Francisco Warriors. They became the Golden State Warriors in 1971.
National Basketball Association Playoffs
The Warriors have won a National Basketball Association Championship since moving to California. They defeated the Washington Bullets in four games to win the 1975 Championship. The Warriors defeated the Chicago Bulls in the Conference Finals to reach the championship.
2013 NBA Playoffs
The Golden State Warriors qualified for the playoffs as the #6 seed. They upset the #3 seed Denver Nuggets in the first round before losing to the #2 seed San Antonio Spurs in the Conference Semifinals.
